Per tutta la notte il vento ha soffiato a forza di quattro o cinque, il mare era agitato con onde di tre o quattro metri. La bellissima barca a vela di classe J (otto metri) su cui mi aggrappavo al timone e cercavo di mantenere la rotta, tagliava coraggiosamente questo mare nero e aggressivo.
All'alba, con l'aiuto del mio compagno di viaggio, gettammo l'ancora nella tranquilla baia di Colombier a St Barths. L'acqua era limpida e immensamente blu. Sfinito sul ponte in teak mi sdraiai... finalmente potevo godermi un meritato riposo che mi trasportava in sogni pieni di dolcezza, sueño suave...
Finalmente potevo sognare.
